Description
Blended vintage sake of 2018.
A beautifully matured vintage sake with rich notes of dried fruit, honey, and toasted nuts. Silky and complex, it balances developed flavours with lively acidity, culminating in a long, elegant finish.
Perfectioned in original Burgundy barrique barrels -second usage. This is unique sake and limited number of bottles available in Japan and rest of the world.

Founded 1893 in the city Iwase in Toyama prefecture at the Japanese west coast. The area is famous for its excellent cuisine based on fish and seafood. The sakes of the Masuizumi brewery pair very well with this cuisine.
Tasting notes
Appearance Bright golden hue. Nose Complex aromas of dried apricot, honey, toasted nuts, vanilla, and gentle spice, with subtle oxidative notes. Palate Rich and silky, showing layers of dried fruit, caramel, roasted nuts, and mellow umami, balanced by vibrant acidity. Finish Long, smooth, and elegant, with lingering notes of honey, oak-like spice, and a delicate savoury depth.
Serving
Suggestions: Lightly chilled (10–12°C): To highlight freshness and complexity. Cellar temperature (14–16°C): Enhances the mature aromas and rich texture. Wine Glass: Best for appreciating its layered bouquet.
