This is a sinble malt whisky finished in Japananese sake cedar casks used for maturing Japanese sake in Kuzakura Sake Brewery in Kyoto.

Striking, refreshing cedar wood aroma makes you feel like walking along a path in the forest on a sunny day. This was born by the synergy of Sake and whisky making that only Kizakura can do.

Kizakura Tamba Distillery is located in Tamba Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture, a region renowned for its beautiful natural environment and the tradition of the Tamba Toji, Japan’s respected master sake brewers.

Surrounded by forests at an altitude of around 300 metres, the distillery benefits from pure air, frequent mist, high humidity, and temperature variations of more than 30°C throughout the year. Together with the region’s high-quality soft water, these unique conditions provide an ideal environment for crafting and maturing Japanese whisky.
