Tamba Single Malt 2024 2nd

Description

This is the sixth single malt “Tamba” supervised by our whisky ambassadors, Mr. Kitahata (Owner of Bar Silver Moon) and Mr. Kuranuki (Representative of Bar Lag Wagon). Peat malt aged in Sherry casks is the key malt and blended with several kinds of malts with their eye-opening sensation.

Kizakura Tamba Distillery is located in Tamba Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture, a region renowned for its beautiful natural environment and the tradition of the Tamba Toji, Japan’s respected master sake brewers.

Surrounded by forests at an altitude of around 300 metres, the distillery benefits from pure air, frequent mist, high humidity, and temperature variations of more than 30°C throughout the year. Together with the region’s high-quality soft water, these unique conditions provide an ideal environment for crafting and maturing Japanese whisky.
