Description
This wine has been vinified under the care and with the expertise of Thanassis and George Papaioannou. It has been fermented at low temperatures and remained in oak barrels for 4 months.
A sophisticated oak-aged Assyrtiko that combines the grape's hallmark freshness and minerality with the richness of barrel maturation. Layers of citrus, stone fruit, and toasted oak are beautifully integrated, resulting in a complex, elegant white wine with excellent ageing potential and remarkable gastronomic versatility.

Tasting notes
Nose Complex aromas of ripe citrus, quince, baked apple, vanilla, toasted oak, and honey, with hints of roasted nuts and flinty minerality. Palate Full-bodied and beautifully structured, offering layers of lemon curd, stone fruit, subtle vanilla, and toasted oak, balanced by the vibrant acidity that is characteristic of Assyrtiko. Finish Long, rich, and elegant, with lingering citrus, gentle spice, and pronounced mineral freshness.

Suggestions: Serve at 10–12°C. Decant for 20–30 minutes to allow the wine's complexity to develop.
