Domaine Verret is a family farm of 57 hectares in north Burgundy near Auxerre.

Tasting notes

The nose claims a liquorice side and some rather exotic notes such as cantaloup and melon. The backbone is citrussy and expressions of a subtle seaspray minerality tickles your nostrils. With a sip the fine bubbles dance between the palate and the tongue. According to the tasting moment you will discover the sharp vivacity of the chardonnay when just poured or the the roundness of the pinot noir after a bit of time. The result is a remarkable, complex, balanced and elegant sparkling wine.
